Are All Those Transformations Really Necessary?

Business change initiatives—whether strategic, operational, cultural, or all of the above—seem to top every executive team’s agenda these days. Indeed, 95% of the organizations that Accenture surveyed in 2024 had undertaken more than two major reinventions in the previous two years; 61% had undertaken at least four. With all the macro forces reshaping business today, leaders have little choice but to launch corporate transformation efforts. Or do they?
